1000 Subscriber Celebration (+ week 10 competition)
I am pleased to announce that r/customyugioh has reached 1000 subscribers! In just 3 short months, we have grown by almost 600 members! u/resliot and I are so happy with how this subreddit is growing, and we are looking forward to the next thousand and beyond! In honor of this achievement, we will be hosting three events that will take place in the following weeks.
The first will be a Q&A with u/resliot. If you didn't know, the more talkative of the two moderators here is also a card shop owner! Dealing with both the TCG and OCG, this is a great opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes of a card/tourney shop!

The second of the two events will be the week 10 competition. In honor of both week 10 and 1000 subscribers, you will be tasked with creating a card that somehow uses either the number 10 or 1000. Winners will be decided by most creative use of either number, most realistic (balanced and powerful), and as always the most popular, decided by upvotes. Same rules apply as other competions, and remember add 'Week 10 competition' in the title.

The final of the three events will be a custom card tournament, hosted through dueling book. The date of this is to be decided, but except a date around early July, get to work! In the days leading up to the tournament there will be a week long submission window when cards can be submitted through the discord ( hint hint, join the discord ) to be approved for tournament use. During this time, you can get extra feedback to prepare the cards for tournament use.
