• any PCI ethernet LAN card will work, the main problem is space; if you system has an additional VGA card, the PCI slot is just over the VGA card, so you must double check if there's enough room to fit it.

  Downloaded the Acer hardware check software and it shows that my system is missing LAN and VGA hardware.

  open the left case panel of your PC (front looking) and check if you have an installed VGA card.

  about ethernet LAN port, 99.9% is gone.

• Thanks, I'll look when I'm back at my office in a couple hours. Someone suggested some cards serve 2 purposes? But I no visual problems, so not sure how a bad VGA card would reveal itself.
